- Wuthering Waves version 1.3 phase II is out now
- It brings a plethora of in-game events
- Version 1.3 previously introduced a whole new area to explore
As an ardent fan who’s sailed through the stormy seas of Wuthering Waves for quite some time now, I can confidently say that the latest update, version 1.3 phase II, has once again proven to be a treasure trove for us players! Although it doesn’t introduce as much new content as the initial release, it certainly doesn’t disappoint with its array of in-game events.
For approximately three weeks now, Kuro Games’ popular ARPG, Wuthering Waves, has seen the launch of version 1.3 – its latest update. This new iteration brings a wealth of fresh content including the Black Shores region, two brand-new resonators, and extra storyline elements. Although phase II doesn’t offer as much extra content, players will still find many enjoyable events that are part of it.
Firstly, you’ll embark on a Small Wooly, Big Adventure, diving into a fresh companion story with the character Jinzhou. Subsequently, you’ll encounter two additional art events: Prevail the Lasting Night, which revolves around Convene as its main theme, and Verdant Summit, which showcases the weapon Convene.
To sum up, the second run of the Lollo Campaign is coming up, and with Infinite Battle Simulation, you can gather exclusive rewards and currencies from limited-time events. Not to forget, there’s also the Wuthering Exploration event and Chord Cleansing waiting for you! If you’ve been hesitating to dive into version 1.3, now seems like the perfect moment!
Back to the shore
Admittedly, it feels a tad underwhelming that the second part of this latest update appears to primarily consist of events. Other games such as Genshin Impact often divide significant content additions into multiple parts when there are multiple phases in an update. However, if you’re seeking more narrative elements and additional chances to acquire new characters, these outcomes aren’t the most disappointing scenarios.
In the interim, if you find yourself with some spare time, consider exploring some of the top mobile games from our 2024 list that we recommend.
