As a seasoned gamer and tech enthusiast, I can’t help but be utterly captivated by Xiaomi’s latest creation, the SU7 Ultra. Having spent countless hours immersed in virtual worlds of high-performance vehicles, I’ve become well-acquainted with the thrill that comes from raw power and cutting-edge technology. And the SU7 Ultra delivers on both fronts.
Xiaomi has taken a major step forward in its lineup of high-performance vehicles with the introduction of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra. This new prototype, revealed during Xiaomi founder Lei Jun’s annual address, represents a significant achievement for the company. The SU7 Ultra boasts an impressive horsepower of 1548.
The SU7 Ultra is fueled by Xiaomi’s latest announcement, the electric “HyperEngine V8s.” This is backed up by two extra motors: one V8s and one V6s. These specifications surpass the power of high-end sports cars such as the Bugatti Chiron, with the HyperEngine V8s generating 578 horsepower and 468 pound-feet of torque on their own. With CATL’s Qilin 2.0 high-capacity battery on board, the SU7 Ultra promises exceptional performance, boasting an output of 1330 kW. Furthermore, this battery’s advanced LFP chemistry enables quick recharging, allowing for a full charge in less than 12 minutes.
In terms of design, this vehicle strikes a perfect balance between speed and safety. It is equipped with AP Racing high-performance brake calipers and motor reverse braking, allowing it to stop with force greater than 2.36G. This car accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in an astonishingly quick 1.97 seconds and can reach a top speed of impressively fast 217 mph.
The aerodynamics significantly impact the SU7 Ultra’s speed and agility, boasting a lightweight full carbon fiber body, an expansive rear wing, and extra front air intakes. These elements boost downforce and provide improved stability. Surprisingly, the car manages to keep a streamlined appearance, despite its larger size and weight of around 4,000 lbs.
Currently, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is still in the experimental stage and hasn’t received approval for mass production yet.
