XLIM Unveils Dynamic “Episode 7” Collection

XLIM has previewed their latest collection, titled “Episode 7,” before its official debut at The Hyundai Seoul this coming weekend. With a contemporary twist on CMYK color scheme, “Episode 7” presents a variety of practical clothing items in both technical and denim materials, reminiscent of fashion trends from the late ’90s.

A drone moves through various poses, hovering above models dressed in a mix of athletic clothing. Some faces are hidden under homemade balaclavas and head coverings. The base outfits consist of black and white cargo pants, jeans, biker shirts, trucker jackets, etc., but vibrant hues like cyan blue, magenta pink, and bright yellow pop up in certain scenes.

The outfit primarily showcases various shades of pink, enhanced by layering techniques. This includes a long-sleeved maroon shirt, underneath a faded black t-shirt, adorned with a printed pink crossbody bag, and a mauve headwrap. In another style, an all-blue ensemble is created by pairing a cyan jacket with contrasting stitching, accompanied by a blue headwrap and what seem to be heat-reactive sky blue cargo pants.

Photos provide a clear glimpse into XMIL’s architectural design ideology, illustrated by adjustable vents that reveal underlying layers and unique darting techniques that highlight striking contrasting details.

The photos give us a good look at how XMIL designs buildings, with zippers on the vents so we can see inside, and special folds that show off eye-catching patterns.

In other areas, you’ll find detailed examinations of the materials, such as semi-transparent mesh layers blended with breathable fabric technology. Furthermore, a photo featuring a charcoal jacket with pops of red highlights illustrates the waterproof qualities of the fabrics utilized within this range.

On Saturday, January 18, the complete Episode 7 series from XMIL will be made available for purchase via their official online store as well as various authorized retailers.
