Over the past several months, I’ve noticed that numerous Bollywood films are finding their way back onto the big screen, and it seems this trend isn’t slowing down any time soon. One of the upcoming re-releases is the 2014 film Yaariyan, starring Rakul Preet Singh and Hemansh Kohli. This movie revolves around the themes of friendship and love, and I can’t wait to see it when it hits theaters again on March 21, 2025!
Today, March 8th, 2025, the creators of the movie Yaariyan posted about its upcoming re-release across their social media channels. They shared a poster showcasing the main cast and captioned it “A Gathering of Friends”. The poster also revealed the release date.
Rejoice friendship, love, and memories once more at your local cinema! The film ‘#Yaariyan’ is coming back to theatres on 21st March ’25!’

Online community members showed great eagerness about the re-release and expressed their excitement in the comments below the post. One individual expressed gratitude towards T series, stating, “Thank you for bringing back our favorite film to the big screen! My friends and I used to sing all the songs in school. It brought back a wave of pure nostalgia… We can’t wait to watch it again on the big screen.” Another user simply referred to it as “my beloved movie,” while numerous others left heart and fire emoticons.
This movie titled “Yaariyan” offers a romantic comedy drama set in college life, featuring Hemansh Kohli, Rakul Preet Singh, Gulshan Grover, Nicole Faria, and Evelyn Sharma among its stars. The film represents the directorial debut of Divya Khossla, and it was produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the T-Series banner.
