These disputes often resulted in brutal violence, a reality that many Western films and shows of the past failed to portray accurately. However, the series American Primeval does not shy away from this harsh truth but instead aims to depict it authentically from various perspectives. The struggle for control of the West was historically a savage and bloody one, and the show doesn’t sugarcoat it.
