‘Yellowstone’ Gains Ratings Momentum Heading Into Finale

As a long-time gamer who’s had more virtual battles than I care to remember, I can tell you that “Yellowstone” is like a real-life RPG (Role Playing Game) that keeps me hooked week after week. The drama, the suspense, and the unpredictability are reminiscent of the thrilling quests in my favorite games. The record-breaking viewership numbers just prove that I’m not alone in this virtual frontier.

As a dedicated gamer, I can’t get enough of the electrifying comeback of Yellowstone on Paramount Network. The flames of excitement haven’t dimmed one bit in the following weeks!

The drama has consistently attracted large viewership in recent weeks, with the December 1st episode titled “Counting Coup” reaching a new season peak. According to ratings data from VideoAmp, this episode garnered a total of 12.1 million viewers on Paramount Network and CMT – the highest number since the show resumed after an almost two-year break in November.

The season 5B premiere attracted approximately 16.4 million viewers during its initial broadcast, however, this figure also included viewings from eight different networks simultaneously, re-runs, and an extra airing on CBS alone, which made up nearly one-third of the total audience count.

Over the past three days, the first four episodes of the television series Yellowstone, as per VideoAmp’s data, are averaging approximately 11.4 million viewers on both Paramount Network and CMT. The viewership numbers for Sunday’s episode featuring strip poker aren’t yet available at the time of publication.

Paramount Global is temporarily not relying on Nielsen ratings for its linear networks due to a contract disagreement, but despite this, Nielsen’s same-day viewership numbers indicate consistent weekly growth for the show “Yellowstone”. If we focus only on the initial broadcasts on Paramount Network and CMT, the series has seen an increase. From 6.66 million viewers who tuned in for the season 5B premiere on November 10, it climbed to 7.83 million on December 1, marking a 18% boost over a four-week period.

The finale of Yellowstone is set to air Sunday.
