As a seasoned gamer of life with over a decade of binge-watching Yellowstone under my belt, I must say that these new photos have sent a thrill down my spine! The anticipation for the back half of season five has been building like a wildfire in Montana, and seeing Beth, Rip, Kayce, Jaime, and Thomas back in action is a sight for sore eyes.
Yellowstone revealed the first photos from its long-awaited back half of season five.
The pictures feature Beth Dutton (played by Kelly Reilly), Rip Wheeler (portrayed by Cole Hauser), Kayce Dutton (depicted by Luke Grimes), Jaime Dutton, played by Wes Bentley, and Thomas Rainwater, acted by Gil Birmingham.
Of course, Kevin Costner, the original star of the show who portrayed John Dutton, is missing from the new season. After the show’s break following its fifth season, there was much anticipation about his return, but instead, he chose to concentrate on his “Horizon” movie series. Despite this, Costner remains a producer for the show in a contractual capacity.
The images arrive alongside rumors suggesting negotiations between Reilly and Hauser about possibly prolonging the success of the Paramount Network’s hit series for more than a fifth season.
Additionally, there’s an upcoming series titled “The Madison“, which serves as a sequel to “Yellowstone“. This new show features Michelle Pfeiffer and Matthew Fox in the leading roles. The plot revolves around a New York City family who move to the Madison River valley of central Montana, where they grapple with themes of grief and human connection.
Yellowstone returns on Sunday, Nov. 10.
The show follows the Dutton family, who manage the largest continuous cattle ranch in the U.S. They face shifting allegiances, unsolved murders, old wounds, and respect earned through hard work, as their ranch is constantly at odds with its neighbors – an expanding town, a Native American reservation, and America’s first national park.
