Yellowstone Spin-Off ‘Y: Marshals’ Starring Luke Grimes Teases New Montana Justice Country Drama

Once more, the universe of Yellowstone is expanding, this time as a continuation of the widely appreciated Taylor Sheridan western saga. Alongside a spin-off featuring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, another sequel will delve into the story of a beloved character from the original 2018 series.

Moving away from Yellowstone Ranch, Dutton becomes part of an exclusive U.S. Marshals unit. He utilizes both his cowboy prowess and Navy SEAL training to dispense justice across Montana. In this role, he and his fellow officers grapple with the need to maintain family ties, fulfill their duties, and endure the heavy emotional toll that comes with being the frontline against the ongoing violence in the region.

Currently, I’m eagerly anticipating the upcoming CBS drama titled “Y: Marshals” that will air on Sundays at 9 PM. Interestingly, it appears this show is set to debut before the previously announced spin-off of “Dutton Ranch“. This new series focuses on Beth Dutton, portrayed by Reilly, and Rip Wheeler, played by Hauser. Although details about the project have been sparse, both actors have closed deals to return.

Given Taylor Sheridan’s hectic television schedule, fans like myself will surely be grateful for any new content. As the Yellowstone universe continues to expand, Sheridan’s “Landman” is also moving forward with Season 2. In an exciting development, an Oscar-nominated actor has recently joined the cast of this series.

Another ‘Yellowstone’ Follow-Up Is in the Works, but It’s Not About the Duttons

It’s worth noting that another series following the events after “Yellowstone” is in development, this time from creator Taylor Sheridan. Unlike previous shows focusing on the Dutton family, this new one, titled “The Madison“, will shift its focus to a New York family grappling with grief amidst Montana’s wilderness. The impressive cast includes Michelle Pfeiffer as Stacy Clyburn, Patrick J. Adams as Russell McIntosh, Elle Chapman as Paige McIntosh, Matthew Fox as Paul, Beau Garrett as Abigail Reese, Amiah Miller as Bridgette Reese, Ben Schnetzer as Van, Kevin Zegers as Cade, Rebecca Spence as Liliana Weeks, Alaina Pollack as Macy and Danielle Vasinova as Kestrel.

An emotional exploration of grief and interpersonal relationships, focusing on a New York City family as they adapt in the tranquil Madison River valley of central Montana.
