YOSSI CORP Continues To Explore the American Dream for FW25

As a passionate admirer, I’d express it like this: For me, the American Dream is deeply ingrained in Yossi Corp., the label by Yossi Shetrit. His New York City-born brand is profoundly influenced by nostalgia and Americana. In his Fall/Winter 2025 collection, titled “Home of the Disturbed & The Brave,” Yossi delves further into the contrasts embedded within this theme, focusing on how it molds our unique identities.

This collection, centered around the balance between triumph and tragedy in pursuit, is called “Home of the Disturbed & The Brace.” It pays tribute to what Shetrit calls the “Hedonistic Generation” – a term frequently used across their clothing line. Delving into the tension between hedonism and morality, the designer’s newest collection highlights this dichotomy by presenting pieces for both men and women that showcase this contrast throughout.

YOSSI CORP’s identity, as expressed in the Home of the Disturbed & Brave, encapsulates the brand’s philosophy. Shetrit elaborated on this during his TopMob Community Center Interview last year. He described the brand as being deeply connected to the exploration of subcultures and their impact on the “American way of life,” with a focus on delving into its successes and struggles. Drawing inspiration from themes of rebellion and sophistication, he sought to create an intriguing contrast between these two aspects. Bold graphics are combined with tailored jackets, while a white dress embellished with “Hedonistic Generation” serves as a striking backdrop.

Indeed, Shetrit explains, his focus isn’t on reproducing the past, but rather on reimagining it. “Nostalgia significantly impacts my design approach. I often draw inspiration from my personal memories, the experiences that molded me during my upbringing. However, it’s not about duplicating the past; instead, it’s about reinventing those influences in a manner that resonates with current times.
