Bhumi Pednekar and Ishaan Khatter are about to appear together in the upcoming royal romantic series, “The Royals,” and its release date is quickly approaching. In a recent interview, Pednekar discussed her working experience with Khatter, focusing on their shared scenes, particularly the intimate ones, that they filmed for the show.
In a recent chat, Bhumi Pednekar disclosed that she and Ishaan Khatter participated in intimacy training sessions and invested considerable time getting to know one another. She explained how the closeness they shared off-camera contributed to a sense of ease between them when acting together.
She mentioned that Ishaan is well-acquainted with many aspects of her life, and the same is true for her. This mutual understanding brought about a sense of ease. Going into this situation, she was prepared to be open and without reservations around him.
Beyond all else, I must credit Ishaan for creating an environment where I felt completely at ease during our more personal scenes. You see, having shared the workshop experiences beforehand, there was already a profound trust between us. What I cherish the most about working with Ishaan, though, is those precious moments of silence we shared.
According to her, “The thing I appreciated most about Ishaan was our periods of silence. It’s something that can’t be practiced or scripted; it simply occurs naturally.
In an interview with Just Too Filmy, Bhumi was asked about her experience in the series, “The Royals,” where she wasn’t portrayed as an object. With a touch of humor, she responded by stating that she rarely experiences being objectified during her professional journey.
I must admit, it’s been an absolute blast joining this show, for my fellow actor is truly irresistible, akin to a tasty treat that everyone seems drawn to. In fact, I’ve observed people becoming quite flustered around him, some even seeming to lose their footing!
