Young Thug Follows Up With ‘Slime Season’ Streaming Release

As a longtime fan of Young Thug, I can’t help but feel like Santa came early this year! Dropping not one, but two Slime Season mixtapes out of nowhere? This man knows how to keep us on our toes!

For the past two days, Young Thug has been making headlines left and right. Despite facing accusations of infidelity while in prison, allegedly towards Mariah The Scientist, Young Thug has managed to divert our attention with a positive development. Surprisingly, he chose to release “Slime Season 2” on all streaming platforms, and to make things even more exciting, he also dropped the prequel “Slime Season.

Initially, “Slime Season” was released on September 16, 2015, followed closely by “Slime Season 2” approximately a month later on October 31, 2015.

On this, his seventh independently published mix tape titled “Slime Season,” Thugger presents a collection of previously unreleased tracks (that he put out to avoid a major leak of his work). Some of these songs are over a year old and were originally intended for the mixtape’s initial release.

At the outset of his “Slime Season” period, an 18-track album positioned Thug firmly in the mainstream spotlight, demonstrating his unique industry niche. This critically praised project boasts notable tracks like “Best Friend,” “Take Kare” (featuring Rich Gang and Lil Wayne), “No Way,” and “Mine.” Other collaborations include Migos and Peewee Longway on “Quarterback,” Young Ralph on “Rarri,” and Gucci Mane on “Again.” For a complete tracklist, see below.
