Zeebit to launch Solana’s first on-chain game platform on Sonic SVM

As a seasoned blockchain analyst with a background in decentralized finance (DeFi) and gaming, I am thrilled to see Zeebit’s upcoming launch of the first Web3 microgaming platform on the Solana ecosystem. Having closely followed the developments within the Solana community, I am particularly impressed by Zeebit’s innovative approach and strategic collaboration with Sonic, the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) Layer 2 chain.

In simple terms, Zeebit, a decentralized, non-custodial protocol, is preparing to debut the initial microgaming platform on the Solana blockchain network under the Web3 umbrella.

In a recent press release sent to crypto.news, the Zeebit team announced that their new on-chain risk-on gaming platform will become operational on Sonic, which is the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) Layer 2 chain. This launch will introduce an array of novel Web3 games for users.

As a crypto investor involved with Zeebit, I’m thrilled to share that our partnership with Sonic has become a reality. This achievement is largely due to the significant improvements we’ve made to our Support Vector Machine (SVM) in the past few months. By leveraging its core functionality, we’re now able to open up new possibilities for games and experiences that were previously unimaginable.

As a researcher studying the blockchain gaming industry, I can tell you that Zeebit’s platform is going to bring classic casino games and player-versus-player (PVP) matches with on-chain verifiability, provable fairness, and non-custodial settlement. In simpler terms, this means that all transactions will be transparently recorded on the blockchain, ensuring fairness in gameplay and eliminating the need for a central authority to hold funds.

Zeebit plans testnet launch in coming weeks

The Zeebit team intends to debut on the Sonic test network prior to moving to the mainnet for a complete transition. During this test phase, scheduled for the near future, users can experiment with both established and innovative games, including Dice, Coin Flip, Limbo, Roulette, Plinko, Mines, and Crash. Testers on the testnet will be rewarded with Zeebit points and Sonic rings, which they can exchange later.

As a researcher involved in the project, I can tell you that testnet users stand to gain Zeebit points and Sonic rings as rewards for their participation. These tokens can be saved up for future redemption.

After the complete launch of its mainnet, Zeebit will be among the initial decentralized casinos to debut on Sonic. Chris Zhu, CEO of SonicSVM, commended Zeebit for its integration with Sonic. He emphasized that Zeebit stands out as more than just another cryptocurrency casino; it is an innovative project showcasing the full potential of Web3 technology on the Solana network.

“Zhu expressed his enthusiasm about the Zeebit team’s ability to bring their vision to life through Sonic. They will create an open and honest gaming platform using Sonic, standing out as a pioneer in the Sonic community by utilizing a tailored gaming solution. The Zeebit team’s creation will seamlessly blend with the broader Solana ecosystem.”

Zeebit is nurtured by Solana Labs and receives financial backing from investors such as Jump Crypto, Mirana Ventures, and GBV.
