Update: More than two years ago, Zion Williamson unveiled his “Voodoo” Air Jordan 1 Low OGs. This unique colorway sparked the development of a blue-toned “Voodoo Alternate” prototype in late 2023. As per recent reports from Sneaker Files, this design is expected to hit stores this year on November 19 through Nike SNKRS and various retailers. Keep an eye out for further details, including a sneak peek at the final product, and revisit our initial story below.

A new version of basketball star Zion Williamson’s Air Jordan 1 Low OG sneaker, known as the “Voodoo Alternate,” has been spotted sporting hues of blue.

Regarding color differences, the pair shares almost the same structure as its 2022 version, with minor modifications in style and materials. A distinct feature is the increased visibility of diagonal cross-stitching scattered along the side of the right shoe, specifically on the lower lace area.

What stands out most are the bright shades of blue and indigo, featuring a bottom layer made of high-quality suede and top layers resembling burlap material, either indigo or purple in hue. The signature skull emblem at the heel is found on the Voodoo Alternate, along with an upside-down Jordan Wings logo and tongue label. Common design elements include a mini Swoosh logo on the forefoot, braided rope laces, and a stitched-up Swoosh logo.

As I write this, it remains unclear whether the “Voodoo Alternate” shoe collaboration between Williamson and Jordan Brand is a one-time thing for Williamson or if they plan to release it in stores. To stay updated, check their official sources.
