Developer/User Wishlists

As a crypto investor involved in the Polkadot community, I’m excited to share that we have a collaborative platform where both users and developers can express their wishes and suggestions for potential enhancements within the Polkadot ecosystem. To do this, simply head over to GitHub and submit an issue outlining your needs or ideas for network improvements. Together, we can help shape the future development of Polkadot.

Major Ecosystem Topics

The UI/UX Collective

Polkadot has recently announced a new community-focused project aimed at resolving various UI/UX challenges within the network. This initiative intends to tackle issues including standardized address formats, gas fee tokens, and the integration of a cross-chain feature to enable swapping between distinct parachains. The OpenZeppelin Parachain Templates

The second proposal from OpenZeppelin, endorsed in February 2024, signifies a momentous achievement for the Polkadot network. Post-approval, the OpenZeppelin team has successfully initiated the development of this proposal and unveiled the first instalment of the audited Generic Parachain Runtime. Slated for public release next month, this runtime – meticulously examined by SR Labs – underscores the consistent advancements in the Polkadot ecosystem.
