As a seasoned crypto investor with over a decade of experience navigating the volatile digital asset market, I’ve seen it all – from Bitcoin’s meteoric rise to the meme coin mania. The recent surge of meme coins like Woman Yelling At Cat, Settled EthXY Token, and Phili Inu has caught my attention, especially their double-digit gains amidst a seemingly cooling market.
As Bitcoin soars beyond $68,000, meme tokens such as Dogecoin (Woman Yelling At Cat), SushiSwap’s Ethereum–Polygon hybrid token (Settled EthXY Token), and Philanthropaus Inu (Phili Inu) have seen double-digit increases.
As reported by CoinMarketCap, the overall value of the cryptocurrency market appears to be rebounding following a downturn last week. The current total market capitalization now stands at approximately $2.34 trillion, marking an increase from the previous weekend’s figure of around $2.17 trillion.
Currently, Bitcoin (BTC) stands at approximately $68,000, while Ethereum (ETH) trades near $2,600. Lately, there are indications that the market may be slowing down, hinting at a possible change in direction.
Despite this uncertainty, these three meme coins are up by double digits.
Woman Yelling At Cat pumps 80%
According to the most recent information from CoinGecko, there’s a captivating pattern in the price movement of a cryptocurrency inspired by Taylor Armstrong that resembles a meme coin.
In a reference to a popular internet joke based on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” the cryptocurrency known as Woman Yelling At Cat (WYAC) saw a significant price increase. Starting from a 24-hour low of $0.02504, it skyrocketed up to a high of $0.05288.
It’s not entirely clear what’s causing the increase in prices, but there’s no denying that WYAC’s presence is expanding across various social media platforms like X.
See the chart below.
It appears that the peak has passed for the WYAC coin. Currently, its market capitalization stands at approximately $45.5 million. Notably, the meme coin reached a new record high on October 17th.
Lately, the meme coin has climbed to the top spot among the biggest gainers on CoinGecko’s list due to its significant increase. Furthermore, Alphanomics data shows that WYAC is among the top five coins experiencing the most price growth in the last month, boasting a staggering 6200% rise.
Here are the Top 5 meme coins that have experienced significant price increases over the past 30 days, with most being on Solana, except for two:

SEXY and PHIL soar
On scrutinizing the rankings of CoinGecko’s top performers over the weekend, it’s evident that Settled EthXY Token (SEXY) and Phili Inu (PHIL) have experienced substantial growth, registering increases in excess of 10%.
The price of SEXY has surged nearly 80% from its lowest point in the past 24 hours, which was at $0.2408. However, following a significant rise that took it to $0.5241, the meme coin has experienced a pullback.
SEXY first launched in August 2023 on the Ethereum blockchain.
Third in the list of top performers is PHIL, experiencing a 54% surge. This meme coin, highlighted in the 46th issue of the SHIB Magazine, has also seen an increase of more than 130% over the past month. At present, its value hovers near the $0.04 mark.
The surge of less commonly used meme coins, such as Popcat (POPCAT), is observed amidst its relatively stable price fluctuations. Specifically, the feline-themed Solana (SOL) meme coin has dropped by more than 3% within the past day and about 15% over the last week.
Nevertheless, as we’ve observed, POPCAT has tended to experience pullbacks after significant price increases in its history. At present, though, it’s challenging to predict the direction of this meme coin’s trajectory with certainty.
