Revolut brings crypto exchange to 30 new markets across Europe

As a seasoned crypto investor with a penchant for fintech innovations and a knack for navigating the ever-evolving digital asset landscape, I find the expansion of Revolut X across 30 new European countries by the London-based neobank Revolut to be an exciting development.

The independent cryptocurrency trading platform, Revolut X, introduced by the innovative digital bank, Revolut, has been expanded to serve clients in an additional 30 European nations.

In an effort to grow its influence in the cryptocurrency market, the financial technology company, Revolut headquartered in London, plans to extend its independent crypto trading platform, Revolut X, into several new countries within the European Economic Area.

In a press release dated November 13th, and distributed to crypto.news, financial service provider Revolut announced that their cryptocurrency exchange is now accessible in 30 additional countries within the European Economic Area (EEA). This move is aimed at making Revolut X a strong competitor among platforms for crypto traders. Leonid Bashlykov, who heads product development for the crypto exchange at Revolut, described this expansion as a significant achievement, having launched earlier in May.

Feedback from seasoned traders has been overwhelmingly favorable, as they’ve been quick to capitalize on our minimal fees, expansive selection of tradable assets, and smooth compatibility with their Revolut platforms.

In the early days of October, it was disclosed that Revolut stopped approximately $13.5 million worth of potentially fraudulent cryptocurrency transfers from June through September. Remarkably, about 92% of all crypto transactions were processed without any user intervention required. However, for the remaining 8%, extra verifications have been implemented to adhere to regulations related to fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, and other protective measures as stated by Revolut.

Since 2021, Revolut has been contemplating the launch of its own cryptocurrency exchange. Based in London, they began their search for a team leader to design and construct “Revolut Crypto Exchange.” As of April, the company’s valuation stood at $25.7 billion, and it caters to 30 million customers worldwide, granting access to over 50 cryptocurrencies.
