Di Palma was born on the 17th of January, 1931, in New York City, and grew up in Forest Hills Gardens. His father, Gaetano Di Palma, was a civil engineer who constructed the Italian Pavilion at the 1939 World’s Fair held in New York, while his mother was Michela May Ambrosio Di Palma.

As a gamer, I’ve been fortunate to have had loving family by my side for 54 years – a producer, actress, and talent manager extraordinaire named Di Palma and Engle. They were my rock, my inspiration, and my confidant. Together we created a bond that transcended the boundaries of time and space.
Beyond being my wife, she was also a pillar in our industry. Her influence reached far and wide, impacting many lives through her work as a TV producer and actress. I am proud to call her mine.
I am grateful for the love and support of my two amazing daughters, Joycelyn Joan and Julianne Michelle. Joycelyn is a brilliant TV producer, following in her mother’s footsteps, while Julianne is an accomplished actress, carrying on our family’s legacy in the arts. I cherish every moment spent with them.
I am also blessed to have three wonderful grandchildren: Avalynn, Edward, and Bailey. They bring joy and laughter into my life, filling it with their boundless energy and infectious smiles. I am overjoyed at the thought of watching them grow and achieve their dreams.
My sister, Flora, has been a constant presence in my life, always there to offer guidance and encouragement. Her wisdom and strength have carried me through some of my darkest hours. I could not ask for a more loving and supportive sibling.
Lastly, my niece, Michelle, completes our family circle. She is a shining example of the love and kindness that can be found within our clan. I am grateful for her unwavering support and friendship.
Though I must now face this new chapter in my life without my beloved wife by my side, I take comfort in the knowledge that our love will live on through our family’s memories and achievements.
