And then, in a move that’s left everyone scratching their heads, he opened a $1 billion BTC short with 40x leverage, risking nearly $50 million on a downside move. Talk about a high-risk strategy! 🤯

Of course, not everyone was impressed with Wynn’s antics. Investor Daan Crypto Trades labeled the initial long “insanity,” noting the outsized risk involved. And pseudonymous trader Innerdevcrypto suspected that Wynn’s high-visibility plays were more about “clout-farming” than actual trading. But hey, when you’re a crypto whale, you’ve got to keep the drama going, right? 🐋

As it turns out, Wynn’s short positions didn’t exactly pan out as planned. He lost almost $16 million, but that didn’t seem to faze him. He’s already moved on to his next big play, opening a $9.9 million long on kPEPE with 10x leverage. And, as of this writing, he’s already stacked more than $130,000 in unrealized profit. Wynn’s rise to fame in the crypto community began with his prediction that the meme coin PEPE would skyrocket 1,000 times to $4.2 billion. And, as it turns out, he was right. He reportedly flipped a $7,600 bet on the token into more than $50 million by late 2024. Not bad for a prophet, eh? 🔮
