In a world where tokens are the new dowry, Sui and Libre Capital have announced a most illustrious partnership!
The esteemed blockchain platform, Sui, and the distinguished Libre Capital have joined forces to bring tokenized funds to the masses (or at least to institutional and accredited investors). This scandalous news follows the introduction of Libre Capital Gateway on Sui.
But wait, there’s more! This partnership also involves the esteemed Nomura Group’s Laser Digital and the alternative investment manager, Vulpes. Together, these platforms aim to advance an on-chain initiative, allowing the Sui community to access tokenized funds from major providers. The collaboration will provide access to tokenized hedge funds, private credit, and money market funds.
One of the funds coming to Sui is the tokenized Laser Carry Fund, a market-neutral strategy from Laser Digital. This high-yield strategy capitalizes on opportunities around funding rates and yield across the digital asset market. Libre also issues tokenized funds from BlackRock, Brevan Howard, and Hamilton Lane, among other global asset managers.
“Leveraging Sui’s Move-based infrastructure to provide institutional and accredited investors with secure and scalable access to real-world assets is a powerful use case for the technology,” said Christian Thompson, managing director of Sui Foundation. Oh, the scandal!
Avtar Sehra, Libre founder and chief executive officer, noted that this partnership introduces wealth and treasury management tools to Sui users. It also enables the tokenization platform to utilize Move-based infrastructure for decentralized finance solutions like collateralized lending. Oh, my nerves!
Bringing investment funds on-chain is a crucial step in bridging traditional finance and crypto. But, dear reader, let us not forget the potential for mischief and mayhem in this scandalous world of blockchain and tokenized funds!
