Aave V3 goes live on ZKSync’s Era mainnet

As a seasoned analyst with over two decades of experience in the financial industry, I find the integration of Aave V3 on ZKSync Era mainnet to be an exciting development that bridges traditional finance with decentralized finance (DeFi). My life experience has taught me that collaboration and innovation are the cornerstones of success, and this partnership between Aave Labs and ZKsync is a prime example.

As an analyst, I’m excited to announce that I’ve been part of the team that launched Aave V3 on the ZKSync Era mainnet. This move is paving the way for users of this zero-knowledge-powered blockchain ecosystem to access liquidity and yield generation opportunities more efficiently than ever before.

In a recent blog post, Aave Labs announced that the rollout of Aave (AAVE) version 3 on Era will empower the community to utilize sophisticated Zero-Knowledge (ZK) technology, thereby expanding their access to the realm of decentralized finance.

In simpler terms, integration implies expanding the range of applications within the Elastic Chain, a network composed of independent chains, which may incorporate rollups utilizing ZKSync’s technology. Notably, the Aptos Foundation has suggested deploying Aave V3 on the Aptos (APT) mainnet.

A gateway to DeFi

As a crypto investor, I’m thrilled about the new institutional features being rolled out. These include personalized networks and bespoke platforms designed for specific asset classes, considering individual risk levels, and catering to different market segments. This customization promises a more tailored experience for us investors.

Users now have access to GHO, a local, overcollateralized, decentralized stablecoin that’s inherent to the Aave platform as part of this integration.

As per Stani Kulechov, founder and CEO of Aave Labs, the debut of Aave V3 on Era presents a chance for enhanced cooperation and innovation between the Aave and ZKsync user groups.

“Kulechov stated that by merging Zero-Knowledge proofs with the integrated Elastic Chain system, Aave could achieve unparalleled levels of scalability, confidentiality, and safety. This enhancement would potentially broaden the user base in DeFi and generate new institutional applications.”

Chainlink price feeds integrated

As an analyst, I’m excited to share that in the rollout of Aave V3, we’ve integrated Chainlink (LINK), providing us with dependable real-time data streams for pricing. This partnership ensures our platform remains robust and responsive to market fluctuations.

As a researcher, I’m excited to note that the Aave DAO delegate and service provider, Aave Chan Initiative, is taking charge of distributing and managing airdrops from ZKsync. This will be done via liquidity mining and various incentive schemes, ensuring a fair and efficient process for all involved.

According to reports, the Aave Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) has given a green light to make four assets easily accessible on Era at first. Among these are the stablecoins Tether (USDT) and Circle USD Coin (USDC), Wrapped Ethereum (WETH), and Wrapped staked Ether (wstETH).
