Tory Green, the current chief operating officer, will assume the role of CEO.
Shadid made a notable donation of one million IO tokens to io.net’s GPU Internet Foundation, aimed at fostering expansion within the ecosystem.
On June 9, Shadid made a post on X where he pondered over io.net’s remarkable expansion. He brought attention to the fact that io.net now ranks among the swiftly developing decentralized AI firms worldwide.

In the post, Shadid acknowledged the vital role of the community and team in providing him with consistent encouragement.
Additionally, he expressed his belief that resigning would benefit the community and ensure the continued prosperity of the project.
Green was proud and pleased to assume the position of CEO at io.net. He paid tribute to Shadid’s accomplishments and articulated his plans for carrying forward io.net’s objectives.
Io.net, as mentioned by Green, presently caters to around 20,000 GPUs that are cluster-enabled, offering AI solutions to a number of businesses such as WonderAI, Krea, and Leonardo.

The summit highlighted the project’s recent accomplishments and upcoming goals.
As an analyst, I’d rephrase that as follows: In the keynote address, we announced the completion of a highly successful Series A funding round, which brought in a substantial $30 million investment.
