“Binance’s CZ to Musk: Ban the Bots, Save the Humans!”

In a most droll and sardonic missive, the estimable Changpeng Zhao—known to the plebeians as CZ—has taken to the digital soapbox to implore the magnanimous Elon Musk to do away with the infernal automatons that plague the hallowed halls of X.

On the ninth day of March, CZ, with a verve that would make a Twitter bird blush, decreed that while the likes of Grok, ChatGPT, and DeepSeek may indeed craft tweets of a most peculiar nature, the posting of such via API should be akin to heresy. CZ, with a keen eye for detail, drew a fine line between the mechanical bots and the more sophisticated AI agents, extolling the virtues of the latter in tasks as mundane as hotel reservations or the artful craft of coding.

I say, banish all bots from X! I wish to engage with flesh and blood, not soulless automatons. 🧟‍♂️

Should one deign to use Grok/GPT/DeepSeek to pen a tweet and then, with great effort, copy and paste it here, so be it. But API postings? A bridge too far, I say. 🤷‍♂️@elonmusk

The automated drivel is quite the bore. If I wish to converse with bots, I shall do so in the privacy of my own Grok, thank you very much.

X, that once noble platform, has been beset by a plague of bots, most foul in their intent. They peddle scams and false advertisements like a fishwife at market, all the while luring the unsuspecting into phishing traps.

Since Musk’s acquisition of X in the year of our Lord 2022, the bot scourge has persisted, much like a most tenacious stain upon a fine silk cravat. Musk, in his wisdom, has proposed such measures as requiring a credit card for a nominal fee, no doubt to deter the bot farms from their nefarious endeavors.

The cryptocurrency crowd has raised a cacophony of complaints about bots masquerading as industry titans, pushing dodgy tokens and leading the innocent astray to sites most sinister. These bots are also rather adept at “romance scams,” where they feign affection with all the passion of a cold fish, only to beg for funds under the guise of investment opportunities or financial emergencies.

A study from the year of our Lord 2023 by the Network Contagion Research Institute revealed that these bots are quite the charlatans, using their collective might to inflate the worth of altcoins like so many balloons at a children’s party.

As the users of X hold their collective breath, they await the day when Musk shall descend from on high to smite the bots and restore order to the platform.
