Bybit Enables Apple Pay Integration for Debit Cards

As a seasoned crypto investor, I’m always on the lookout for convenient ways to manage my digital assets and make transactions seamlessly. The latest announcement by Bybit CEO Ben Zhou about the compatibility of their debit cards with Apple Pay is a game-changer for me.


Ben Zhou, the CEO of Bybit, announced on Tuesday that their debit cards have been made Apple Pay-compatible, expanding the choices available to consumers for making payments.

As a researcher studying Bybit’s latest developments, I can share that following our earlier implementation on June 17, Bybit users now have the convenience of using Apple Pay for their transactions directly within the Bybit app or website.

In April, Bybit launched the Bybit Card, a genuine debit card issued by Mastercard, enabling users to process transactions in one traditional currency and eight digital currencies. This innovative card facilitates seamless payment processing and cash withdrawal.

Apple’s objective of enhancing financial services and rewards in its mobile wallet app this fall aligns with the company’s announced plans, according to the Associated Press’ report from early June.

The connection between Bybit and Apple Pay is part of a broader trend among cryptocurrency trading platforms to team up with conventional financial services. Notably, Apple has recently enabled use of Crypto.com’s Visa cards within the EU edition of its app.
