As a seasoned crypto investor with a background in software development, I’m excited about Chromia’s incentivized testnet and the opportunities it presents. Chromia’s relational blockchain platform is an intriguing proposition, and I believe it could disrupt traditional databases and decentralized applications (dApps) markets.
As a chromia platform analyst, I’m excited to share that our Layer-1 relational blockchain, Chromia, recently announced the launch of an incentivized testnet. Participants in this testnet will have the opportunity to earn rewards from a pool of 250,000 CHR tokens.
As a Chromia analyst, I would encourage users and developers to explore the full range of Chromia’s functionalities in various industries. Specifically, we can assess its potential in gaming, dealing with real-world assets (RWAs), managing digital collectibles, and supporting sports applications.
Chromia’s testnet
Users of testnets have the opportunity to experiment with decentralized applications (dApps) built on Chromia and utilize its native official wallet, all while receiving the CHR tokens as a reward prior to the mainnet’s launch.
Based on the press announcement, the testing program will consist of three separate projects, each featuring its own dedicated network that operates on Chromia’s mainnet candidate version.
Before the rollout of our mainnet, this is an ideal time for us to demonstrate the strength and trustworthiness of our technology, while at the same time allowing our devoted community to play a significant role in determining the direction of Chromia’s future. (Alex Mizrahi, co-founder of Chromia)
Chromia testnet initiatives
Chromia’s first two testnet initiatives are HackNet and ProjectNet, and QuestNet.
Expert: Coders and tech-savvy individuals are invited by Hacknet to participate in evaluating Chromia’s fundamental software during the upcoming two-week program. Their feedback, particularly on edge cases, will be invaluable. A reward of 100,000 CHR is up for grabs for those who contribute effectively.
HackNet’s conclusion, scheduled for June 28, aligned with the completion of Trail of Bits’ audit. This timing benefited Chromia by providing an opportunity to consider community feedback and establish a schedule for the mainnet debut.
For developers working on Chromia using Rell, ProjectNet serves as an alternative platform. Up until July 26, 2024, Chromia welcomes submissions from creators of decentralized applications (dApps). A total reward of 50,000 CHR is allocated for this category, with the prize money being distributed among the top three projects.
QuestNet, which launches on June 18, targets at incentivizing everyday users.
As a crypto investor, I’m excited about this initiative as it prioritizes the creation of an intuitive interface where I can effortlessly engage with various dApps and network elements like the Chromia Vault.
QuestNet has a prize pool of 100,000 CHR
