Cometh partners with Transak to allow crypto purchases on layer 3 blockchain

As a seasoned crypto investor with a background in gaming and blockchain technology, I’m thrilled about the recent partnership between Transak and Cometh. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the industry as it offers the first direct fiat-to-Layer 3 blockchain onboarding solution, making the process of buying crypto and participating in NFT marketplaces much more accessible and efficient for users.

As a researcher studying the latest developments in blockchain technology, I’m excited to share that Transak and Cometh are collaborating to create an industry-first, direct fiat-to-Layer 3 blockchain onboarding solution. This innovative approach promises faster transaction times compared to existing options in the market.

In this collaboration, users and gamers can easily acquire cryptocurrencies like Ethereum (ETH) for Cometh’s Cosmik Battle game directly using a credit card. This streamlined integration enables quick access to the Muster NFT marketplace, allowing users to buy Ethereum and engage in trading without the need for intermediaries.

As a crypto investor, I used to find it quite a challenge in the past to transfer funds or upload currency to Cometh’s Arbitrum Orbit, Muster. However, with this new partnership, the process has been streamlined significantly. The need for intermediary crypto tokens and intricate bridging procedures is now eliminated, making my gaming experience smoother and more efficient. This simplification was announced in a recent Cometh press release.

Players in the “Cosmik Battle” game created by Cometh and available on Muster have the option to buy cryptocurrency using a credit card. Subsequently, they can utilize this digital currency to procure cards from other players through the game’s marketplace.

As a crypto investor, I’m excited about the partnership between Transak and Cometh. This collaboration simplifies the process of buying crypto using fiat currency for me, eliminating the need for intermediaries. For dApp developers and Layer 3 blockchains, this partnership tackles a common issue by offering a direct protocol-level interaction method. This means that transactions can be made more efficiently and securely, making my investing experience smoother.

How it works

To make a purchase using our platform, it’s necessary for users to possess a Muster wallet.

Users can buy ETH on Muster L3 directly within Cosmik Battle using Transak One.
Transak sends the ETH to the user’s smart wallet on Muster through Cometh’s Arbitrum One smart contract.
The transaction completes in under two minutes, giving users quick access to their funds for marketplace activities on Muster.

In simpler terms, before engaging with an NFT marketplace, users needed to acquire cryptocurrency via a Layer 2 platform and transfer it to the specific blockchain (Muster’s). The intricate procedure often discouraged numerous potential users from joining in.
