As a seasoned crypto investor with over a decade of experience in this dynamic and ever-evolving market, I find myself both excited and cautious about these recent funding rounds. The sheer volume of investments last week might have dipped compared to previous weeks, but the quality of projects securing funding remains impressive.

Last week, the total investment in cryptocurrency ventures surpassed $40 million, with VLayer, a decentralized data infrastructure platform, receiving $10 million.

That’s a large drop in volume and value compared to the previous week.

  • The firm raised $8.30 million in a seed round led by Lattice and Lemniscap.
  • Additional backing was received from IOBC Capital, Nomura, and Lyrik Ventures.
  • Cytonic is developing a Layer 1 blockchain for universal Web3 compatibility.

The initial funding round was jointly spearheaded by Lattice Fund and Lemniscap. Additionally, the following firms participated: IOBC Capital, Laser Digital_, Lyrik Ventures, PublicWorks FM, Maelstrom Fund, Inception Capital, Black Edge Capital, FOMO_, and numerous other esteemed investors.

3D Gaming Innovator, Gamebeast Studio, unveiled on X that they’ve secured a $2 million investment for their Web3 gaming platform, Gamebeast. The financing round was spearheaded by Tido Capital and T-Fund, with contributions also coming from K300 Ventures and Notch.

  • Rekt — the parent company behind the Rektguy NFT project, Rekt Drinks and the Rekt Brand — raised $1.5 million in seed funding.
