Jupiter acquires Ultimate Wallet for mobile expansion

Jupiter, the decentralized exchange aggregator on the Solana blockchain, has broadened its scope by taking over Ultimate Wallet, a company specializing in self-custody digital wallet solutions.

Jupiter’s decision to acquire Ultimate Wallet is a key step in their plan to boost mobile functionality and draw in hordes of new users. As stated in their announcement, the integration of Ultimate Wallet signals the commencement of their mobile project, slated to begin beta testing in May.

The company intends to combine Ultimate Wallet’s tech and staff with its own mobile platform, Jupiter Mobile, in order to speed up development and enhance the user experience.

The company reassured users that their funds were secure and gave information about the upcoming change, such as the final day for using the existing Ultimate app, which is May 22.

Obtaining Ultimate Wallet fits perfectly with Jupiter’s objective to broaden its customer base and improve its mobile services in the decentralized finance (DEFIs) sector, indicating potential for more advancements in this area.
