Ledger Live adds support for Revolut to increase accessibility for crypto

As a seasoned crypto investor with a knack for navigating the digital asset landscape, I find the partnership between Revolut and Ledger to be a strategic move that could significantly streamline my investment process. Being based in Europe, the integration of Revolut’s app into Ledger Live allows me to effortlessly purchase cryptocurrencies while keeping track of my portfolio through a single platform.


Partnering with Ledger, Revolut is now integrating its platform into Ledger Live, enabling crypto purchases directly from the Ledger application for users residing in certain European regions.

In certain European regions, Revolut and Ledger have teamed up to offer a smooth, streamlined process for users to buy cryptocurrencies using the Ledger Live platform, which helps crypto investors monitor their investment portfolios.

In an announcement on August 14th, which I had the opportunity to review and share via crypto.news, Revolut detailed their intention to integrate cryptocurrency purchasing capabilities for users residing in certain countries within the European Economic Area.

For those Revolut users who have already gone through Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, they will not need to undergo further verifications when acquiring cryptocurrency. New users can complete the KYC process and then access this service using Visa or Mastercard. According to Revolut’s crypto general manager, Emil Urmanshin, this partnership is a significant step towards our goal of assisting people in joining the web3 ecosystem.

Revolut doubles down on crypto

The most recent action aligns with Revolut’s gradual entry into the world of cryptocurrencies, which includes the staged introduction of its own crypto trading platform, Revolut X. In contrast to standard launches, Revolut X was initially accessible only to experienced traders, providing a fee-free method for exchanging fiat currencies into cryptocurrencies, and charging 0.09% for those who take (purchase) the cryptocurrency.
