Pharrell Williams and Louis Vuitton are pushing boundaries in the fashion industry once more. They’ve created a unique limited-edition varsity jacket as part of their collaboration. What makes this special is that it comes with both a real leather jacket and a digital NFT (Non-Fungible Token) collectible. This combination brings the physical world closer to the digital universe.
Louis Vuitton introduced the VIA project in June 2023, initially selling a digitally crafted replica of their renowned trunk for an expensive $41,000. Now, they’re unveiling an updated version specifically for NFT (Non-Fungible Token) holders of VIA, priced at a significant $8,450.
Last year, Williams and Louis Vuitton teamed up for the first time to sell a digital Speedy bag as an NFT for $9,000. Now, they’re collaborating again on a second NFT project.
Louis Vuitton introduces the initial leg of their VIA journey: get ready to explore the revamped Speedy 40, as reimagined by Pharrell @Pharrell. This modern take on Louis Vuitton’s classic bag, originally designed in 1930, is now available for discovery. Learn more about this collaboration at #LouisVuittonVIA and #PharrellWilliams.
