As a crypto investor with a background in technology and finance, I’m always on the lookout for promising projects that have the potential to disrupt traditional industries and create value for users. The partnership between Ready to Fight and the TON Foundation is particularly intriguing to me, as it combines two areas of growing interest – boxing and cryptocurrency.
As a researcher studying innovative collaborations in the tech and finance industries, I’m excited to share that I’ve recently learned about an intriguing partnership. I’m particularly thrilled because one of the co-founders is none other than Ukrainian world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
As a crypto investor, I’m excited about the latest collaboration between Ready to Fight, a web3 boxing app, and two notable entities – the TON Foundation and Kauri One. Together, they aim to broaden the utility of the RTF token by developing a crypto-enabled debit card accessible via Telegram messenger. This innovative move will be based on both Ethereum and BNB Chain (previously known as Binance Smart Chain) blockchains.
In a press release obtained by crypto.news, it is revealed that RTF token holders can now utilize their cryptocurrency for international purchases at merchants accepting Mastercard, through Apple Pay. Furthermore, users have the ability to manage nine other digital assets, including Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), and Ethereum (ETH), within their in-app wallet, and exchange these tokens for RTF.
Regarding the collaboration, Sergey Lapin, CEO of Ready to Fight, expressed his belief that blockchain technology presents “significant prospects for fostering expansion in the realm of sports, with boxing being a notable beneficiary.”
“Lapin noted that the significant interest in Ready to Fight signifies its promise. However, for widespread acceptance, it’s crucial to make it user-friendly and offer various applications.”
Introduced towards the end of 2023, Ready to Fight has amassed a user base exceeding 150,000 individuals, comprising 15,000 boxers. Notable boxing legends like Amir Khan, Mike Tyson, and Michael Buffer have lent their endorsement to this innovative app. Ready to Fight functions as a bridge between athletes and the experts and resources that facilitate their growth and financial gains. The app’s tokenomics position it as such. For all monetary exchanges on the platform, including donations and purchases of goods and services, Ready to Fight employs its own native token, RTF.
