Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Proposes US Budget on Blockchain

At a rally in Michigan, independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suggested a radical new approach: placing the entire US federal budget on a blockchain. This idea aims to increase transparency by allowing Americans to access and examine budget details anytime they want.

“At the Michigan rally, RFK Jr. proposed making the US federal budget transparent by putting it on the blockchain. This means that each citizen would have the ability to view every single expenditure in real-time, day and night.”

According to Kennedy’s suggestion, running a public office entails both ethical and practical responsibilities. This includes making all dealings transparent, eliminating corruption, and practicing financial responsibility. He advocated for a regulatory system to oversee these matters, using past government spending scandals as an example.

Stand with Crypto, a non-profit that advocates for the appropriate crypto regulations, is in support of Kennedy being strongly supportive of cryptos. Kennedy, who accepts Bitcoin donations for his campaign, is also on record on a platform that advocates for the U.S. dollar to be stopped by Bitcoin if elected.

Although Kennedy supports the use of blockchain technology for transparency, he is against the idea of a central bank-issued digital currency due to privacy worries. Jerome Powell, head of the Federal Reserve, has indicated that the central bank will not initiate the development of CBDC until necessary legislative approval from Congress is obtained.
