Ah, the enigmatic Satoshi Nakamoto, a phantom flitting through the digital ether, leaving behind a trail of cryptographic breadcrumbs 🥖. A Coinbase director, one Conor Grogan – a man whose name sounds suspiciously like a character from a Dostoevsky novel – has stirred the pot. He suggests, with the gravity of a peasant facing a harsh winter, that Kraken, that digital leviathan of an exchange, may hold the key to Satoshi’s true identity! Imagine! The scandal! The sheer… *drama*! 😂
Arkham, that tireless digital bloodhound, has sniffed out some 22,000 wallets allegedly belonging to our elusive Bitcoin creator. Grogan, bless his soul, questions the reliability of the so-called “Patoshi Pattern” – a mining routine as convoluted as a Tolstoyan sentence – but still acknowledges the merit of Arkham’s investigation. One might say he’s as torn as a beggar trying to choose between a stale crust and a slightly less stale crust. 🤔
I went through Satoshi Nakamoto’s wallets; thread of new findings that I don’t think have been previously reported including:
-My best guess is that Satoshi was last active onchain in 2014
-He may have used a Canadian BTC exchange (!)
-Kraken may know the identity of Satoshi— Conor (@jconorgrogan) February 5, 2025
One wallet, highlighted by both Arkham and Grogan, is among the few publicly known addresses from which Satoshi dispensed his digital gold. This address, my friends, leads to CaVirtEx, a Canadian crypto exchange – now absorbed by Kraken in 2016. A delicious irony! A twist worthy of Chekhov himself! 😈
Kraken, founded by the enigmatic Jesse Powell (a name that whispers of hidden power!), may still possess data from CaVirtEx. Grogan’s advice? “Delete the data,” he urges. Like a whisper in the wind – a whisper that carries the weight of billions. 💰
Grogan’s sleuthing also connected Satoshi to an active Bitcoin whale, swimming in a sea of $3 billion. A whale indeed! 🐳 One wonders if it’s Satoshi himself, grown fat on his digital creation. The possibilities are endless… and hilarious!
The mystery of Satoshi, it remains. Sixteen years of whispered speculation. Craig Wright’s claims, dismissed like so much chaff in the wind. Many believe Satoshi’s anonymity is crucial to Bitcoin’s continued success – a digital ghost story, forever captivating. 👻
