Senators and Their Crypto Crushes: Who’s Cashing In? 💸

So, as the Senate heats up over stablecoin regulations (because who doesn’t love a good financial drama?), the juicy gossip is all about which senators are secretly (or not-so-secretly) cashing in on cryptocurrencies. 💰

On May 19, the Senate decided to play nice and voted 66-32 to move ahead with the GENIUS Act, which is supposed to be the regulatory fairy godmother for stablecoins. But hold your horses! With 16 Democrats on board, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. 🌈

Of course, the Democrats are clutching their pearls over potential corruption and the cozy relationships between politicians and crypto firms. After the vote, Senator Michael Bennet from Colorado introduced the STABLE GENIUS Act, which sounds like a superhero movie, but really just wants to keep Congress members from investing in digital currency while they’re in office. Talk about a buzzkill! 😒

Despite the drama, Congress members are still required to spill the beans about their investments (and their spouses’ and kids’ too). So, without further ado, here are 11 senators who are dipping their toes into the crypto pool. 🏊‍♂️
