As a crypto investor with a background in blockchain technology, I’m excited about ShardLab’s latest web application that simplifies voucher distribution using NFTs. Having followed the development of this technology closely, I believe this is a significant step forward for the industry.
A Blockchain development team, ShardLab, has introduced a user-friendly web application for streamlining the process of issuing vouchers as non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Hashed’s blockchain division, ShardLab, introduced a user-friendly web app that employs account abstraction (AA) and zero-knowledge proofs (ZK) to streamline the process of managing decentralized identities and distributing vouchers.
Using zero-knowledge tech, this app verifies user identities while keeping personal info confidential. Additionally, it enables users to claim and use vouchers as NFTs via QR codes, according to ShardLab.
At the Southeast Asia Blockchain Week 2024, the company announced the successful introduction of NFT vouchers. These vouchers were integrated with POS systems at more than sixty businesses located in ICONSIAM, a renowned shopping mall in Bangkok. Attendees had the opportunity to utilize these vouchers during the event.
“ShardLab asserts that this application showcased the feasibility and effectiveness of blockchain technology in a genuine retail setting.”
At ICONSIAM, attendees can effortlessly redeem their vouchers using account abstraction and NFTs technology. By scanning a QR code, the voucher value is subtracted from the bill total without requiring complex smart contract interactions.
“Hojin Kim, CEO of ShardLab, expressed that by incorporating advanced technologies such as zero-knowledge proofs and account abstraction, we are laying the foundation for a future in which blockchain becomes not just secure but also user-friendly and uncomplicated for everyday transactions.”
