Tether to Launch AI Platform in Q1 going into 2025

As a seasoned researcher with years of experience observing and analyzing the ever-evolving landscape of the digital economy, I find Tether’s decision to venture into AI fascinating. With my background in both blockchain technology and artificial intelligence, I can see the potential synergies between these two worlds.

It appears that Tether, the leading stablecoin issuer, is planning to introduce an artificial intelligence (AI) platform in the first quarter of next year. Today, on social media, the CEO Paolo Ardoino hinted at this development by sharing a draft of the site for Tether’s AI platform and stating “Excited about the draft for Tether’s AI platform. Coming soon, targeting end Q1 2025.

Tether is now focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) as it moves forward. They have established a separate AI division known as Tether Data, whose goal is to create cutting-edge open AI models emphasizing innovation, transparency, and data privacy protection.

Additionally, Tether consistently published job listings for an Artificial Intelligence (AI) engineer and a leader in AI Research and Development throughout the year.

Tether’s recent advancements in artificial intelligence are a continuation of their past efforts to expand their business portfolio, best exemplified by the launch of the Hadron platform last November. The Hadron system converts assets such as stocks, bonds, stablecoins, and loyalty points into digital tokens, thereby simplifying transactions.

Last month, Tether made an investment of €575 million, approximately $623 million into Northern Data Group, which operates data centers with GPUs for the development of AI.

This investment is a support for Tether’s bigger vision of AI by embedding AI solutions into products driven by the market. This is the potential for integrations between AI and crypto, with AI tokens in the spotlight and getting much traction.

Yet, Tether is venturing into the AI sector amidst increasing rivalry among technology companies as they strive for progress in AI innovations.
