The record-breaking $148 million milestone for TON‘s assets has been surpassed for the first time, as reported by DefiLlama. This amount represents a nearly threefold jump within just one month and over tenfold growth in comparison to the previous year. At present, TON’s total value locked stands at approximately $146.4 million.
In the realm of projects built on the TON blockchain, the two frontrunners in terms of Total Value Locked (TVL) are Tonstakers liquid staking protocol and STON.fi decentralized exchange. Currently, the value of assets locked in these projects stands at approximately $200 million for Tonstakers and $83.4 million for STON.fi.
The value of Toncoin (TON) cryptocurrency, in addition to the total value locked in the Ton network, has surged over the past month. This asset experienced a significant gain, reaching over 61% increase. Currently, its price hovers around $6.25.
Furthermore, the price of Toncoin reached new peak levels multiple times in April. Notably, its market capitalization achieved an all-time record, placing it among the top 9 most sizeable investments and surpassing Cardano (ADA) in the process.
The factors fueling the growth were developments surrounding Telegram. The TON Society’s team of developers collaborated with HumanCode, a company specializing in artificial intelligence technology.
