As a seasoned crypto investor with a keen interest in the latest developments within the digital asset space, I’m thrilled about Valour’s announcement of the world’s first exchange-traded product (ETP) for Near Protocol (NEAR). The timing of this launch couldn’t be better, given the heightened attention and interest in cryptocurrency assets, especially following the debut of spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US.
Defi Technologies’ subsidiary, Valour, has introduced the first exchange-traded product (ETP) globally that is focused on Near Protocol.
As a cryptocurrency market analyst, I’ve noticed a surge of interest in digital assets lately, especially since the introduction of Bitcoin spot ETFs in the US back in January. This fresh development is expected to cast a spotlight on Near Protocol (NEAR), currently ranking among the top 20 cryptocurrencies with a market cap of $6.6 billion.
Valour unveils new ETP for NEAR
On Wednesday, Valour, a provider of digital assets investment products, declared that starting from then, investors of all types – including retail and institutions – can access the newly introduced Exchange-Traded Product (ETP) linked to Near Protocol (NEAR).
As a cryptocurrency investor, I would express it this way: By holding ETP (Near Protocol Exchange-Traded Product), I gain access to the Near Protocol ecosystem and become part of its digital finance evolution in the Web3 space.
“Elaine Buehler, Head of Product at Valour, announced the introduction of the first-ever Valour Exchange-Traded Product (ETP) for NEAR, allowing investors an exceptional opportunity to explore the groundbreaking NEAR Protocol, renowned for its disruptive influence on Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).”
The NEAR ETP by Valour is traded on the Swedish Spotlight Exchange, and can be accessed via platforms such as Avanza Bank in Stockholm and Nordnet, the internet brokerage firm.
Valour suite of ETPs
Valour is expanding its collection of crypto Exchange-Traded Products (ETPs) by introducing NEAR to the roster. Currently, the company offers ETPs for Solana, Cardano, Polkadot, Enjin, Uniswap, XRP, and Avalanche.
Various staking options are available to investors, encompassing Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), and Internet Computer (ICP).
So far in 2023, Valour has introduced eleven Exchange-Traded Products (ETPs) based on digital assets, with plans to roll out additional crypto investment offerings for both individual and institutional investors. These new products are presently available for trading on significant European exchanges, banks, and broker platforms.
