As a seasoned blockchain analyst with years of experience in observing the crypto market, I can’t help but be excited about the latest development between VeWorld and Transak. The integration of Apple Pay into VeWorld’s self-custody wallet is a game-changer for users of the VeChainThor blockchain.
VeWorld, a personal digital wallet designed for the VeChainThor blockchain, has recently added Apple Pay as a payment option through its collaboration with the on-ramp provider, Transak.
With the VeWorld crypto wallet, users have the ability to safely keep and control their Vechain (VET) coins and other Vechain Thor-compatible tokens (VIP180). This self-managed digital asset wallet offers convenient features such as fee delegation and the option to integrate with Ledger wallets.
Fabio Fabbrucci, VeWorld’s product manager, expressed that Transak’s integration with Apple Pay aligns seamlessly with our objective of delivering the most uncomplicated user experience. This collaboration represents a substantial advancement towards enhancing accessibility and convenience for our customers.
Apple Pay adds to VeWorld’s payment options
In addition to broadening the reach of VeWorld, integrating Transak enables the VeChain Foundation wallet to better serve its expanding user base who favor Apple Pay over other payment options. VeWorld currently supports Coinbase Pay as well.
“Sami Start, the co-founder and CEO of Transak, expressed our company’s dedication to delivering effortless and safe entry points to prominent blockchain networks through our partnership with VeWorld, as stated in a release.”
Through expanded payment alternatives, VeWorld users now have the flexibility to select their preferred method for buying cryptocurrency using conventional payment methods. This collaboration is anticipated to boost VeChain’s expansion by making it more conveniently accessible to a broader audience, as suggested by Start.
Apple Pay offers a universal payments solution with approximately 640 million registered users worldwide. In contrast, Transak’s Web3 payment system caters to over 5 million users in various parts of the world, extending its reach to more than 160 countries.
VeWorld users can access Transak on its iOS app, Android and via desktop browser extensions.
